2013 MICHAEL BRIN PRIZE IN DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS
The fourth Brin Prize has been awarded to OMRI SARIG
for fundamental contributions to the theory of infinite Markov chains and the solution of long-standing problem of constructing infinite Markov partitions for general surface diffeomorphisms with positive topological entropy
