Homework is normally given on Mondays and is due the following Monday.
Weekly assignment include about five Exersices/Problems, virtually all of them from the text,
and may include optional problems of higher difficulty with extended deadlines.
Homework is graded by the course grader Zhenqi Wang zuw104@psu.edu within a week after the due date.
Homework may be turned in either on paper or electronically (tex/pdf). Students are encouraged to
use the second option. Model solutions are distributed about one week after the due date.
Two-hour written final exam at 10 am on TUESDAY DECEMBER 19; room 315 McAllister.
Students not satisfied with their final grades will have an option of taking an oral exam shortly afterwards.
